My reflection on real-world engineering challenges

  1. Reducing filter clicks in a data-heavy application

A keyboard query bar for analysts filtering 100,000-row tables, so several criteria become one request while the dropdown chips stay in place.

  2. Automating i18n: How We Cut Localization Time by 90% and Optimized Our Lokalise Bills

A custom Babel parser that finds unwrapped static strings, checks them against existing keys, uploads them to Lokalise, and rewrites the source. Localizing a feature dropped from 4–5 hours to under 20 minutes.

  3. How I Cut an Enterprise React Build by 49% and Reduced TBT by 88%

21.2 MB to 10.7 MB of build output. Lighthouse 67.6 to 86.3. Total Blocking Time 228 ms to 28 ms, across a micro-frontend React platform with 14 routes and a shared design system.

  4. Scaling Long-Running Operations: Distributed Event Routing, Protocol Constraints, and Resilient UI Architecture

HTTP/2, a pub/sub broker, and an authoritative job snapshot are what make Server-Sent Events safe for a long-running workflow. Polling stays the stable choice when those are not in place.
